Conquer Your Power Hour
Adopting a minimalist lifestyle has recently led me to heavily audit my life. Reducing my physical and mental clutter has created space for a true assessment of whether my actions are aligned to my idea of a meaningful life.
As I scrutinized my daily actions, not having time became a clear reason for getting things done. It was definitely not that I was doing too much, it just became apparent that all my actions did not have equal reactions. Not even close.
I was spending too much time on my phone, on crafting lengthy to-do lists and not enough time on meditation, exercise and writing. In fact, I was only spending 30–40% of my action time actually doing things that gave my life meaning.
The Pareto Principle:
80% of results will come from just 20% of the action.
The Power Hour
Productivity is the product of how much you do and how efficiently. It is influenced by the depth of your attention, clarity of goals and prioritization. We need to be more mindful to allow clear judgement, be creative to boost confidence and plan well. And that can all be done in under an hour.
